Friday Night

Kyle got home from work pretty late tonight - 8:30ish, so we just had some pizza and hung out before heading to bed at a semi-reasonable hour. We're exciting! What can I say!?

4th Anniversary today!

We didn't do much - PF Changs take-out, a haircut, a new toothbrush and some new luggage! Beach and dinner plans for this weekend! :o)

Rain is a Good Thing!!

It was a super rainy day today - no complaints here, but no picture either. If I had a thermometer, I would have taken a picture of the fact that it was 76 degrees at 3pm. Sure it was POURING but such a welcome cool down!! :o)

Obsessed

Cort's laser interest has heated back up again lately - except now it's become an obsession! He will sit for 15 minutes at a time and stare at the spot on the counter where it used to be kept, all the while panting, waiting for me to get it down. Once it's on, he doesn't really chase it as much as he used to, instead...he just does this! He did this today for 9 minutes straight!!! Just laid and stared at it - then he took one "bite" at it and started over again!

Back from The Vegas

After a long weekend of more fun than anyone should have, and a really long day of traveling, he's back! Kyle seems to have survived, for the most part, and has made it to Florida in one piece. Perhaps a little worse for the wear but alive, well, and glad to be "home" - "Vegas is fun, but you just can't live like that."

Short Stuff

For starters - I just had the most amazing mid-night feast ever! I was at a pool party tonight with some friends from the hospital, only, due to lousy weather there wasn't a whole lot of swimming. Anyway...I was starving and now I'm not! Another success! Yep, you probably guessed by the picture - I finished my 8 miles this morning! Meet my shorts!! The run was a little slower than I would have liked (more because of how long it took and less because I care about how fast I run) and let me tell you, that last mile SUCKED. But, I did it - running the whole time! Now, the shorts may not have been the one thing that kept me going, but having them waiting for me upon my successful return didn't hurt anything! Anyway, I'm tired and a little sore, so I'm off to bed!! Night night all!!
