Little Friend!

Meet little Tilly! Kyle, Susan and I found her all alone outside of Pier 1 today. I talked to her a bit and snapped this picture on our way in to the store, and after some shopping we came across her again on our way back to the car. She must have liked me because she didn't hesitate to climb on my shoe and try to nibble me a bit when I stopped to talk to her again. I wish I would have had a little box to take her to the park to set her free. Hopefully she has a mama squirrel somewhere close by to come find her before she gets hit by a car in the parking lot!!

Earache!

It appears as though Beau may have an ear infection! I'm waiting to hear back from the rescue people about what my next step should be...in the mean time I'm sure he'll keep scratching at it and trying to keep it as far away from me as he can. Poor little guy!!

I'm an Elf!!

Well kind of! The Make-A-Wish/Macy's Believe fun has begun again and today was my first trip to pick up letters!! 258 - not a bad way to start off the season!! From what I understand, it's never to early to check in with Santa AND help grant wishes! :o)

Man Who Hunts On Water

Poppy unexpectedly got to go perch fishing today, I don't know that I've ever seen him so giddy!!! And since today's trip was such a success, he's headed back out on the lake tomorrow...and Saturday. Haha! He's hunting and gathering for Christmas Eve dinner and the long winter ahead! No shortage of seafaring sustinance in their house!!

Going up! Can you guess where the escalator is taking me???

I'm heading home to Ohio for an impromtu visit. The escalator isn't taking me there but the airplane at the terminals that it's taking me to will! Not the greatest of circumstances for a visit, but it'll be nice to be home for a few days.

Help Yourself

Cort has gotten quite comfortable grabbing himself a blanket out of the blanket basket in the living room. Whether it's his ticket onto the couch, a comfy addition to his crate or a pillow for a nap on the floor, he seems to have figured out the benefits of blankets!!
