Crashed!

What do you get when you release one dog into a giant field to let him run around with 25 or so other dogs all day and then let the other dog run and run while pulling you on a bike at full speed for 4 or so miles? THIS! Ahhh...two contentedly tired weims, sound asleep!!

Heartbreak...

Valentine's Day got off to a rocky start. My phone fell off a chair, landed on the floor and well, I'm sure you can see what happened. It still works, it's just a little shattered! Hmph! That's what I get for paying for a phone rather than waiting patiently for it to be free AND turning down the insurance because I'd never broken a phone before! Oh well.

The rest of the day was fine. Nothing too exciting. Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Roadtrip!

So, today we hopped in the Acadia and took a little road trip to meet up with, and spend a little time with our college friend Emily and her boyfriend Drew. We haven't seen her in forever (2 years in Africa will do that) Anyway, I promised that we'd be going on an adventure today, and well, on this here Valentine's Eve we hit the beach! MIAMI BEACH! Yep, we drove down, spent the afternoon and then drove back up! Just a little day trip! Haha. It was a great day and we're happy we made the trip and got to catch up! Check out picasa for more pics!

Shipyard

After meandering around downtown Winter Park today we met up with one of Kyle's friends from school to have lunch at the new Shipyard Emporium. This is one of the Shipyard drafts...waterfalls just like a Guinness but it isn't!

Tomorrow we're going on an adventure!!

Good Day

Wednesday remains a hospital day and today was a GREAT hospital day. I had so much fun with a little girl who is usually so shy with me. I took her downstairs to see the animals that Disney's Animal Kingdom brought and then went back to the playroom to play. She gave me this owl sticker (and of course made me wear it right smack dap in the middle of my shirt)

It doesn't take much to make a day a good one!

School Days

For starters - you may have wondered why Kyle was a guest blogger yesterday. The reason is because he's good at life lately! He went to a study session at school and got home late...I crashed and fell asleep SUPER early, so, he picked up the slack, and the kitchen, and the laundry...Overall, it's only Tuesday and Kyle gets a gold star for the week! (And probably some extra earned sleep-in time this weekend.)

In complete opposition...I haven't been the most diligent student this semester - however, I am in the process of doubling my efforts - the hard part is that the result of that simple multiplication problem doesn't result in a whole lot more effort! Haha!
