Today was a big day for Beau Dog!! After weeks of sitting home alone while Cort got to go to work with me, today was Beau's day! He did pretty well and we made it through the day without any major incidents. In fact, I think it was really good for him to get out and run and run and run and run. Now he's sound asleep and no doubt dreaming of running all around the big field!
While I love summer time time, I do not like this! Waking up while there is still a dipper waaaay up in the sky is less than desirable! UHG!!!!
While I didn't clean as much as I'd hoped, and I didn't get as much laundry done as I'd planned, I did beat Kyle in P-I-G twice at the park today (he won a game of H-O-R-S-E) and I managed to make leaps and bounds progress on my beach blanket!!! It is now in blanket form, I just need to do some stitching and it'll be good to go! So the weekend came to an end on a fun note...now another week begins and I'm sure to be tired!! At least summer time time is back again!!!!
It was gorgeous today! We took both the doggers out and about to the farmer's market and spent some time wandering around and hanging out downtown, even took a stroll on campus at Rollins. All 3 boys did well - Kyle and Beau are pictured above - with very few near meltdowns! Other than that, we didn't do a whole lot today other than watch some basketball, enjoy the sunshine and take one heck of a nap (we have to prepare to lose that hour after all!) All and all it was a pretty good Saturday - now onto Sunday!! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
We had a bit of a cold front come through...now don't get me wrong, this is no Ohio style cold front, buuut it did drop temps from the 80's into the 60's and added some clouds to the mix. So tonight I made some soup!! It was delicious and just what I was craving after a rainy cloudy day!! In other news...today is the anniversary of engagement day!! Hehe!
Finished up my mid-term, under the 3 hour time limit and without too much trouble. Let spring break begin, as usual, it will include a trip to Ohio for St. Paddy's day!!
**Picasa is not cooperating so you'll have to bear with me on the absence of a picture while I try to figure it out.** Whelp, this year wasn't as authentic as last year. Having to work all day but a damper on my ability and overall desire to go out hunting "real" pączki! So the grocery store it was (I needed to do some food shopping anyway!) Apple was all that was left to choose from, and they really weren't bad. I guess grocery pączki are better than no pączki at all!!! Tomorrow the fun stops and lent begins!!
