Of Course He Did!

So yesterday I made these 4 pumpkin rolls - oh wait there are only two here?? Riiiight, that's because CORT ATE TWO OF THEM!! Argh! In my rush to leave our absolutely destroyed house this morning, I forgot to put the 4 pumpkin rolls (cake parts only) that were waiting to be filled in a higher spot - they were moved to the office during the cookie decorating party. Anyway, I came home from the hospital today to find that Cort had eaten 1 and 3/4 of the selected two. He has had a huge bloated, full belly for the rest of the day but still managed to find the energy and feel good power to play with Greg like a nut! Yep, Greg is in town for basketball so we went and picked him and brought him to our house (did I mention it is a sprinkle DISASTER?) to hang out. Kyle will return him to Disney and his team tomorrow morning - just in time for breakfast with Mickey and his friends! (No one wants to miss out on that!)

I have to do this quick before the internet shuts down AGAIN! So tonight was the second, I guess annual, christmas cookie decorating gathering. Our festivities grew this year, both in attendants and sprinkles! My mom has gained quite the reputation through this whole event, especially when Kyle sat down and showed everyone how sprinkling is REALLY done! They were very impressed, then he explained how he went through Majewski cookie sprinkling bootcamp! Anyway, I think everyone had fun and we made a lot of cookies - some which looked more appetizing than others! Haha! Festive gatherings & making cookies = a la!

Stars at Night!

I love learning fun new tricks. This one is very new, in that I saw it, loved it, learned it, created it and tried it tonight and haven't had much practice at getting it to work just right...BUT I REALLY like it a lot!!! So, this is a little preview...Franklin with some starry looking lights! Expect to see lots more pictures like this in Picasa soon! In other news - I've discovered a delicious white hot chocolate recipe, cards are almost ready to be sent out - pending the addition of a photo (possibly), dog treat making is underway and well, the clean clothes are still piled on the couch (at least their folded) but it's almost time to do more laundry...whoops! All day to get stuff done tomorrow and feeling Christmasy and energized...lets hope it keeps up! Heading to bed "early" tonight!

Believe-day Total!

You know how I'm the Make A Wish Elf that collects the letters at Macy's, well, Friday was Believe Day! Every letter put in the box on Friday was worth not $1 but $2!! So, on the way back from Gainesville today we stopped in to pick up the letters. Here they are, all counted out and in piles of 100 - that's right, each of those piles is 100 x $2! I know you're wondering...the grand total for Friday was 1,515!! That's a lot of letters and at least a few wishes!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

So, I missed yesterday but no worries, I have a little double feature for you today! Today, as you can probably guess is my mom's birthday! I got to be on web-cam with her when she opened the present that I made (it even got there on time)!!! It didn't come out quite as well as I would have hoped, buuut she liked it!! Yay! Then, this evening we went to Gainesville for our annual Christmas get-together with Sarah and BJ and of course the moosecups! Cort came with us to visit Snippy and we've all had a great time eating snacks and playing Taboo! I think the first holiday gathering calls for another La!

BUSTED!

Someone got caught peeking at Christmas presents! Little bugger found my oh so stellar hiding place and has been sneaking back to the guest room to sniff around and see if Santa has dropped anything off early! I couldn't help but snap a picture - although I should have taken one of his face when I said his name - hahahaha! Who says having a dog is different than having a kid? :oP Oh, I finished my final so Christmas can officially begin, start looking for lots of la-s coming up!!! Hope Cort's antics at least brought a smile to your face! Friday on deck!!!
