Picnic Shower

It might be too cold for a picnic but Kristin & I weren't going to let that deter us from giving Megan's shower a springy feel! The Keaton & Majewski ladies braved the chilly (who am I kidding, ARCTIC) Ohio air and joined us for a luncheon party to celebrate the bride (and our sister-in-law) to be! Not only did my family come but Megan's mom and sister joined us - getting a crash course into the craziness that is Tim's family. Haha! The food turned out tasty, Kristin's bin of decorations again, didn't disappoint, and with plenty of time and help we had the party pretty much ship shape by the time everyone arrived. We even sent Megan and my mom out for a relaxing mani-pedi morning. In addition to it being an opportunity to dote over Megan, it was also Keaton's debut. I'm pretty sure Megan was happy to share some of the spotlight with the little man as he was oohed & ahed over, gooed and gahed at and passed all around. All and all, I'd call it a success! There was pie, how could it be anything less!? Big day tomorrow!!!! Hard to believe just one year ago, Nora was in Keaton's shoes! Time flies!

Stuffy Head in the Clouds

After a turbulent day yesterday and a hectic morning, we made it! Stuffy nose and all!!! Yep, Nora is bringing another nasty cold to Ohio...daycare strikes again (thank you, Parker!) Thanks to the life saving advice that Christy provided we overcame Nora's crappy night of sleep last night and her feeling gross and survived the flight up this morning without incident. She even took a nap on the plane!!!

After another short nap in the car on the drive from the airport, she clearly settled right in once we got to Bay. She wandered around, conquered the stairs and snuggled in for a stuffy, snore filled nap with Grumps. Another busy day tomorrow! Here's hoping her cold clears up soon!

Sun's Up!

Sunrise from the top of the parking garage at work this morning. Last day of work for the week! Tomorrow it's all about packing and prepping for St. Paddy's Day and a week in Ohio with Miss Nora. Whoop, whoop!

Found It!

Nora has been having fun playing with these gummy window clingers but we were slightly concerned the other day when a large shamrock suddenly turned into a very little piece of a shamrock. Obviously not terribly concerned. Anyway, the mystery was solved when I got home from work today. Stuck to a balloon - so obvious! Silly girl!

Nora went to a new daycare today while I was at work. Kyle dropped her off and by all accounts she did well with only minimal tears shed. They sent us the first two pictures this afternoon and well...the after shot is the one hour SOUND asleep crash-out that resulted from only taking a 15 minute nap while she was there. Only 3 more days!!!

Bucks at B-dubs

Phew, they pulled it out - wasn't pretty but they got away with it. Anywho, Nora stole herself a crown wandering around saying "HI!" to everyone at the game watch. She was making friends right, left & center...had people picking her up, putting her down, picking her up, making faces at her, talking to her AND giving her things! Needless to say, she was pretty good and seemed to enjoy herself...and had she been wearing a pedometer she would have racked up some pretty good step counts!

Slumber Party!

Today was a super low key day. I crafted like a machine, Kyle yardworked like a champ and Nora toddled around getting into things. A good day for all. Icing on the cake, since the minis didn't have enough fun last night we traded off and watched Jessica's kiddo tonight! Maya is sleeping over! Nora was so excited that she came back, and well Cort is happy to have a friend whenever he can get one, although he went to bed long before Maya was done playing. Anyway, it's fun to have an extra pup here again!!
