Kickin' It At The Zoo!

While I went to a graduation party today Nora had a day full of fun and adventures with Kyle and her grandma and great grandma. First they met up with a Florida based family member and her granddaughter Lilianna who Nora apparently came fast friends with. After exploring the zoo and meeting a few animals Nora and Kyle went to the Orlando City game and cheered the Lions onto a 4-0 victory.

Blue Skies, Blueberries!

How Grandma Green picks blueberries, how Nora picks blueberries, how Susan picks blueberries, how Nora picks blueberries, how Kyle picks blueberries, how Nora picks blueberries. Notice a trend? Our girl is going to turn into a blueberry! In case you couldn't tell we headed out to a farm to pick....BLUEBERRIES today! It was hot, and sunny, but it was also a lot of fun. Now we just have to figure out what we're going to do with the 5lbs of, you guessed it, blueberries, we brought home (not counting however many pounds Nora put down while we were out in the field! Guess we should have weighed her in and out!) - oh, and the two blueberry bushes and the delicious peaches AND the jar of honey. Hehe! I'm a sucker for a good farm experience!

Check this lucky girl out! She's just missing Grandma Maj, other than that, she's surrounded by all of her Greats! From what I understand they had a pretty fun visit, and tonight returned to our house in time for dinner. I had to work today so it was great that Nora was in good hands and getting to spend special time with her Grandma, Great Grandma Green, Great Grandma Reba and Great Grandpa Jerry! Thanks for taking this picture, Susan. It's one we'll hold onto forever!!

Fun and Selfies!

Nora had a fun day with her Grandma and Greats today! They hit the mall for a bit and even got to go out to dinner. Meanwhile, today was a pretty ok day here too! Despite my morning at the dentist...Anywho, aside from that, tonight was date night!!!! It's been a while, but Kyle and I took advantage of our Nora free house and went to see Pitch Perfect 2 and grabbed a late dinner after. I must say, no bedtime battles, full nights of sleep, guilt free runs...we're taking full advantage of this little respite! I will admit that I have found myself missing my little sidekick on occasion though too!

They're There!

Before Nora was even awake this morning I was at the doctor's office checking in on the next trouble-maker coming to town.  Since it was the first Dr's appointment for either kid that Kyle couldn't be at I made sure to get a heartbeat snippet for him.  Judging from that clip-clopping, the little one is in there, hangin' out, doing whatever super-duper tiny humans do by themselves in the dark.

They're Here!!!

Nora is thrilled that her Grandma and Great Grandma have arrived for their visit. She wasted no time inviting them into her playroom and teepee - surprise, surprise. They're spending the night tonight and then all three of them are going to head to Port Charlotte to visit Nora's other Great Grandma & Great Grandpa for a few days. Lots of fun to be had in the week ahead!!

Mothers' Day!

What a lovely day! Nora slept in, then helped Kyle make me breakfast. In addition to a delicious fruit salad and cinnamon rolls, Nora also gave me a loud "Happy Mothers' Day", a wonderful hug AND a spin!!!! It was fabulous! We also cleaned the turtles, did a little Facetiming and went to the baptism of a friend's baby where Nora enjoyed putting on a show and playing with a lot of little ones! I hope that everyone had an equally wonderful Mothers' Day!!
